After helping tons of people make rings and find their ring size in the Wildstone studio, I've learned that ring size is often the biggest hurdle to buying a ring online.

The good news? Once you know your ring size and your preferred ring thickness, ordering a ring online becomes much easier.

But size is only part of the equation. The width of a ring affects how it looks, feels, and wears over time. A delicate everyday band feels very different from a bold statement ring, even when they're the exact same size.

Option 1: Get Sized by a Jeweler (Best)

This is honestly what I recommend if possible.

Pros:

• Most accurate
• Free or inexpensive
• Great if you're between sizes

Cons:

• Requires leaving the house 😂

Option 2: Stop by the Wildstone Studio (If you are local)

Option 3: Buy a Ring Sizer (Favorite at home option)

I know, I know who wants to buy a thing to buy a thing. But listen, this will save you many times over in the long run. Most handmade rings are not returnable! This one is inexpensive and makes sizing much easier. Check out this one

Choosing Your Ring Width

Wider bands fit differently!

A wider ring generally feels tighter than a narrow ring in the same size. Two rings can be the same size but feel very different on your hand depending on their width.

The good news? You don't need to figure out any sizing adjustments yourself. Just send me your ring size and I'll take the ring width into account when I make it.

Everyday (8 gauge) - Top ring

This is my go to! Comfortable, stackable, and seamlessly fits into your day.

Classic (6 gauge) - Middle ring

A little more silver, a little more presence. Great for everyday wear with a bit more visual impact.

Bold (4 gauge) - Bottom ring

My most substantial option. Popular for wedding bands and anyone who loves a bold silver band. I've made versions for my husband, my dad, and for couples creating wedding bands in the studio.

So which one is right for you?

If you're looking for an everyday ring you'll barely notice, choose Everyday. If you'd like a little more presence, choose Classic. And if you love bold silver and want a ring with real weight, Bold may be the perfect fit.
